How challenging is it to progress from Sales Development Representative to Account Executive at Cintas?

There's only BDR/SDR on the first aid sales side of the business. Progression is part of Cintas culture. ALL of the top leadership with the company have been with the company forever.

They do have a new role that is more like an AE that deals with only existing accounts. Not a ton of bonus upside. There will be lots of competition for that role coming from the sales and service departments because the base is higher and there are only a few positions max at each branch.

The Cintas training program is 13 weeks for new reps, but they do require experience for hiring. Once you’re out of training you graduate into your own territory and can start earning quarterly bonuses on your installed new accounts. Account management roles are more on service side than sales roles

Well they don't have SDRs so do you mean from another org? I'd say it's pretty easy, just because the Account Executive role is mainly prospecting based. If you're looking at the SSR role or whatever acronym they use, that's a service technician position. From there it's near impossible as they try to then move you into the operations side.

There are no Account Executive roles at Cintas. Once you sell an account it is handed over to the service department and the SSR and Service Manager handle the account from then on.
