Former Employee I have never seen a company so determined to drive itself into the ground as Avvo. It went from being the first of its kind and delivering an innovative product, to floundering to even grasp what the customer needs, and what consumers are looking for. Instead of innovating, Avvo has continually watered down its own product as its functionality declines into a state of disaster, while raising prices to such an outrageous degree that entire legal markets are dead in the water, devoid of any advertisers and leaving enormous revenue potential on the table. Despite repeated attempts from a multitude of parties to communicate the dysfunctional approach to Avvo's sales markets and product pricing, changes have only continued to sink this business. Internet Brands has seemingly done everything in its power to destroy not just Avvo, but the ENTIRE online legal marketing industry with what is now approaching a complete monopoly—to the detriment of the customer, consumer, and employees alike.
Avvo's executive leadership is delusional to continue on as they have, and IB's executive team is what I would consider to be a prime example of everything wrong with modern corporate America. They are the death of innovation.
