Capital sales is not well known in the competitive market and leadership and corporate does not know how to endorse it or back it correctly. The product is definitely top tier and leads are helped from other division TMs but upper management and leadership does not know how to help to grow the business and sales.

Distributorship model keeps reps from achieving comp plans comparable to competitors. Great company for learning the ropes and understanding the fundamentals of the medical device industry. Distributor model is great for family atmosphere but can be a challenge for reps looking to be financially compensated as they grow in the company.

Excellent products, competitive business model, and meaningful work. Only major negatives are the lower-than-average comp plans d/t distributorship model and no gas reimbursement or company car. my overall experience was ok with Arthrex. Amazing products but not given the opportunity to make money as promised due to each state making their own decisions due to them being privately held.

Overall, Arthrex is a SOLID med device company that is always pushing the limits in the market. The ceiling though is just quite low once you have established yourself as accomplished in your role. They offer some of the better training in the market though and as a first job for med device, you cannot find a better company.
