Unfortunately AppDynamics is not where it used to be. It is another Cisco acquisition that they let sink to the bottom of the ocean. Hired during Covid, right at the moment a cloud-based project came out of stealth, while still in development. For the next 2 years, worked with partners to design and focus the Cloud product. During those 2 years, Cisco chose to go to market with a product that offered minimal competitive advantage over open source app monitoring tools
