What does the usual sales cycle entail in your position at Angi? Have you noticed any changes in the difficulty of closing deals recently?

Typically a 1-day to 2-week sales cycle. Everything is done over the phone so you could potentially close a prospect on a single call. The top reps prospect their own leads and manage everything from creating the lead all the way to closing the deal.

As a rep, you would collect the customer's payment information and set the parameters for the the type of leads they would receive and areas they would receive them in and your manager submit the deal for approval.

High pressure one call close environment. You'll be cold calling contractors and asking for their credit card 20 minutes later. It's hard because they know Angi and most of them hate Angi. They've been called countless times by Angi reps over the years and you're probably the 3rd one this week.

contractors look up reviews on Angi and see its not a guaranteed job and will still have to pay for bad numbers and people who are not interested in work and also see Angi is in a class action lawsuit for selling fake leads and it makes it harder to build trust especially now that we have a F with the Better Business Bureau.. but average sales cycle is 1-2 weeks if not a one call close
