Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee This organization offers a strong work environment with solid leadership, but the current quota system hinders balanced portfolio selling. The incentive compensation (IC) model needs a serious overhaul, especially in how specialty representatives are compensated for the demanding work they perform. In many markets, specialty reps typically earn more than non-specialty counterparts, yet the current structure places an unfair burden on orthodontic reps without adequate reward.
Additionally, the same individuals consistently top the rank reports, quarter after quarter. While their efforts are commendable, this suggests their quotas may not reflect the true potential of their territories. Reps who continuously "blow out" their numbers may not be held to the same standards as others facing more challenging geographic conditions, creating an uneven playing field.
This imbalance is a major driver of attrition, as many reps feel undervalued when they see others working fewer hours yet earning significantly higher incentive compensation. Addressing these issues is crucial for retaining talent and ensuring fairness across the board.
