What does the ramp and training process look like at Actalent for new sales team members? Were you adequately prepared for the role?

Hey-

short answer- no.

long answer- kind of. 
This really depends on your sales manager and their ability to prep you. Hiring people straight into sales hasn't been the most successful. If I were you, I would agree to come on ON THE CONDITION that you recruit  as a recruiter for 6 months seriously after training. IF you don't learn these foundations on HOW the roles interact, and also earn the team's respect through your hustle as a recruiter- you WILL have a hard time setting expectations with recruiters and getting their buy in to help you fulfill business. 
What's the point of going to war to get business if you can't fulfill it? But if have your team's respect and buy in, you can grow crazy fast and fill way more of the business you bring in- regardless of the market.

Alright training. They train you on the industry that you will work in and lots of role play. Don't remember much about ramp but they understand expectations for a new hire.
