Growth Sales Representative
Job Description
The Growth Sales Representative proactively reaches prospects who have indicated interest in ActiveCampaign. They aim to uncover needs with a discovery process, craft the perfect customer journey during an enablement call, and close the deal.
What your day could consist of:
Proactive Outreach: Initiate contact with prospects, proactively engage in conversation to uncover user needs and pain points, and identify opportunities for providing assistance and value during the trial phase.
Discovery Process: Conduct a thorough discovery process to understand the prospect’s requirements, uncover key pain points and challenges faced by the user, and gather insights to tailor solutions and recommendations effectively.
Enablement Call Preparation: Prepare for enablement calls to craft a personalized customer journey, use gathered information to create a tailored plan for the user’s needs, develop a comprehensive understanding of how the product/service addresses the user’s challenges, and optimize the trial experience for product adoption and conversion.
Deal Closure: Utilize consultative sales tactics to close deals, understand and address customer needs and preferences, and navigate the sales process efficiently to meet individual and team goals
Sales Partnership: Collaborate with the sales team to provide the necessary information, assist in the pursuit and closure of deals requiring a more robust commercial process or technical expertise.
What is needed:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (Business, Marketing, Communications) is preferred, not required
1-3 year(s) experience in a customer-facing role (Sales / Success experience preferred as the role involves managing a pipeline and multiple inbound channels)
Experience using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems and other sales automation tools
Familiarity with SaaS/Martech industry, understanding of key trends, and knowledge of competitive landscape (Preferred)
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to adapt to evolving commercial strategies, changing market conditions, and dynamic/varied prospect needs
Proven ability to address challenges, objections, and obstacles
Commitment to achieving results and a history of taking initiative to drive success
Understanding/experience in adopting a customer-centric mindset, focusing on customer needs and providing tailored solutions
Willingness to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends, commercial methodologies, and product knowledge
Strong time management skills
Experience using technology and software tools, as the role involves showcasing the product and using internal systems
