Back to ReviewsFormer Employee My overall experience was so far below average, before joining the business it was laid out that they were soon to be a unicorn, had super ambitious goals which were so far from reach it was laughable. Targets must have been drawn out on the back of a cigarette packet as the data suggested we wouldn’t be able to get anywhere near them, as the average deal size was so small, if you were to land a larger opp the pricing didn’t scale and made no financial sense to even get them to test. One person in 2021 hit their target and this was due to one large customer, the next person was 60% and then it dropped dramatically from there, 2022 was exactly the same. I think there were 4 rounds of layoffs in 2022 all blaming the markets rather than the business and since leaving Nylas there continues to be a steady flow of redundancies. I’m sure the large amount of cash that was invested must be running out.
