Back to ReviewsFormer Employee 80% of pay is commission based. Expect at a minimum 4 hours of driving per day. When I left they stopped compensating for gas and mileage. Commission structure was good for the region but poor for the industry overall. Company leads were barely qualified, it was common to drive an hour to find out the prospect never confirmed an appointment. You are expected to close these unqualified leads on the first visit however, your full commission will not be paid out until after install giving the customer around 2 months to look at the company's poor reviews mainly regarding improper install resulting in paying for a system that cannot be turned on. It is not the reps responsibility to oversee the account throughout install but it may be in their best interest. The company is not afraid to try and take back money they have already paid the rep. All that being said, great crash course in sales and the industry but due to poor base compensation their is little room for failure, you will not get fired but you may find the job is costing you money if you do not sell.
