Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee The comp plan only pays 50% of the rate until you hit 50% of quota. The biggest problem is the quota is so high you never hit the full commission rate. Totally unattainable. Many people have left because of this. They also only pay on invoicing. Not a problem with selling products but if you sell services like PS or support, you only get paid when the work is complete even if the customer pays upfront.
Quotas are not provided until the end of Q1 so they can see what your pipeline is. Then they set a ridiculously high quota.
They are also looking to unload older employees at an alarming rate. So much for DEI. Additionally they are not developing new products. Typical they come up with a new use case and rename the product. It’s really sad since Spirent used to be a good company to work for.
