Don’t let the averaged ratings above put you off. I highly recommend working at Nearmap to anyone! The company has developed and continues to cultivate an excellent corporate culture. Friendly, candid, and compassionate leaders are the norm at field and corporate levels. The biggest challenge faced is creating a compelling business case that drives urgency to the purchasing commitment for Nearmap’s truly superior solutions. That said, there are some very high earners at Nearmap. A background in construction, architecture, engineering, alongside GIS platforms, design technologies, and other platforms/tools in use at those firms is a major plus.

Great product with a strong reputation for being an industry leader. Sometimes selling internally is harder than getting a prospect ready to sign, but if you are persistent and willing to challenge leadership when they are wrong, you can get deals across the line.

Great product, leadership, pay, lead flow before getting purchased by Thoma bravo. Since then, quotas up, and compensation structure has changed to limit pay out. 20%+ price increase on the product. Overall, still a positive company to work for but culture and pay has been diminished since the buy out.
