Question

Miro had explosive growth and came back to earth a bit. Is an IPO possible at some point?

I have been one of the first commercial and enterprise reps in EMEA and have seen the company grom from a couple 100 to 2000+ FTE. The IPO is out of the question for the upcoming 2-3 years imo. Valuations dropped significantly and their 17.5 B valuation is a fairy tale currently. So don't count on too much with your RSUs / Stock Options.

I was an AE at Miro for 2 years during this explosive period of growth. 
Whilst I was there went from <500 employees to over 2000 employees with absolutely insane growth. I can't attest to growth now, but I see the number of users on the platform has added another 20 million since I was there. So I think your ability to hit your number is still significantly easier than at most companies, that's 20 million new possible prospects to get an into at a company. Good reps joining will still find fertile ground and great brand recognition.

The IPO, difficult to say, they spoke about creating a long-term (100 year company...lol) which for me is a negative sign and means the top execs are looking very long term. I think an IPO is just a matter of time tbh, but that time is likely 2-3 years as the others have said. But also, if they start burning cash (they were profitable when I was there, so significant change would have to happen) they will likely IPO or get bought out.

Like most tech companies. They are worth half what they were, but I think the fundamentals of the business are still VERY strong and are a likely candidate to get back into a better position valuation wise.  Long term the category is here to stay and they are the leader along with Figma.

To answer the question, it'll likely happen, just depends if its on favorable terms. Go long if you're betting :)

I second for the other person has said. It's not going to happen for a few years if it does happen. And the days of the $17.5B+ valuations are over for them in my opinion.
