The AE's target is based on gross margin, which makes it tough for a company that mainly resells equipment and installation, support, and maintenance services. Great for Seasoned Sales reps and reps with larger enterprise account can make great earnings. Not really built for the Mid Market and Hunter role that well so a mix is essential to make a decent living.
