Indeed is a great company and is managed very well. The base salary is very low, but the bonus structure is attractive. The difficulty with this structure is that bonuses are paid quarterly. Development and career advancement has been stagnant, but this could also be a reflection of the stagnation in the tech industry. Lastly, “promotions” as an individual contributor do not offer an increase in pay, which I find strange.

The job is definitely not that hard so the compensation is great. However, the product doesnt work a lot of the time, churn is high, quotas are untenable, and it's just honestly a boring job to have.

enjoyed my time here. only drawback were the constant comp plan rewrites that saw OTE for all employees drop considerably.
