Back to ReviewsFormer Employee I am not a disgruntled employee. I was extremely successful in my time at Indeed. I left voluntarily, despite making excellent money, because it is not a healthy organization, and morale is sinking every day due to the reasons below.
Indeed embodies every trope you can think of when imagining a poorly run sales organization. You are actively punished for success with higher quotas and a spotlight on your behaviour, and rewarded for mediocrity with lower quotas and often higher bonuses in the long term.
Indeed as a product has succeeded in spite of itself. It is the market leader not because an exceptional product, backend, client experience, or sales team - but survives as the leader despite lacking all of the above. There is not a day I can remember working there where a major technical issue did not make the sales' teams lives harder.
The focus of the company is short termistic, and on entirely the wrong goals. I would not recommend this as a place to work for anyone who serious about growing their skills and focusing on a long term career. Browse Other Reviews
