I have been at Impact Networking for 4 ½ years now, and I can truly say I am at the company I want to continue to grow at both personally and professionally. Coming to Impact was an instant feeling of family and culture, where lifelong friendships outside the office are formed. I am very fortunate to work at a company where the executives invest back into their employees with great work environments, the most up to date technology, and world class training & development. Due to the growth Impact continues to achieve, there are endless opportunities for the employees. In my tenure here I have been promoted twice and into a management role. Every day I get the opportunity to see our Account Executives & Sales Development Reps succeed and celebrate wins. Recognition and celebration for the AE’s and SDR’s is the most exciting part of the role. Everyday we have the opportunity to meet with Executives of all different industries and help them find solutions to achieve their business goals. This exposure and the conversations have contributed to professional growth and maturity.

Over the past four years, I have thoroughly enjoyed collaborating with sales professionals and executive sales leaders at Impact. Entering the Enablement space without prior sales experience was a daunting challenge, but the culture at Impact facilitated a smooth transition. Like all senior leaders at Impact, the executive sales leadership has been a vocal advocate for the Sales Enablement Team and the work we produce. This executive sponsorship motivates our team to passionately pursue ambitious goals while building essential relationships with go-to-market teams. This year, our team launched its first performance-driven coaching program with ambitious goals aimed at directly enhancing sales performance and outcomes. I am proud to see the Enablement Coaches surpass these goals, and in so doing positively influence our organizational KPIs.

I enjoy the challenge that comes with working at Impact in technology sales because the industry is always changing. Being able to help guide customers through their technology roadmap and change their business is incredibly exciting. My experience at Impact has helped me tremendously with understanding how businesses work, what executives care about, and look for when they want to grow their business. When I talk to many C levels, it is a much higher level conversation about profits and losses, expansion, and bringing new products to market. Working in the technology industry gives you a large advantage over others because you are understanding for each business industry their processes, challenges, and terminology. I think this helps you think in a different light for the rest of your B2B selling career.

One of the things I enjoy most about working in sales at Impact is the dynamic and engaging environment. Every day brings new challenges and opportunities to connect with diverse clients, understand their unique needs, and offer tailored solutions. I appreciate the collaborative team culture where ideas are freely exchanged, and everyone's input is valued. The support from my colleagues and management ensures that I can continuously improve and achieve my targets. We recently closed a significant deal with a major client I had been pursuing for several months. This success was the result of extensive research conducted by our Marketing assessment team, multiple rounds of negotiations, and a deep understanding of the client's business needs. By showcasing the unique strengths of our product and demonstrating its value proposition, we secured a $2.2 million long-term marketing partnership in June. This achievement helped us meet our quarterly goals and emphasized the importance of persistence and strategic thinking in sales. This was a team effort, and I could not be prouder of what we accomplished. My experience with the sales team at Impact has significantly contributed to my professional growth. The comprehensive training programs and mentorship opportunities have equipped me with advanced sales techniques and industry knowledge. Collaborating with experienced colleagues has enhanced my problem-solving skills and helped me develop a more strategic approach to sales. Additionally, the feedback and support from the team have been instrumental in refining my communication and negotiation skills, making me a more effective and confident salesperson. I want to give a special shout-out to both our Houston executives for being great mentors since Day1 and my peers, who have immensely contributed to my professional growth and success at Impact.

Impact was my first 'big-boy' job out of college. When I started, I didn't even know what a CFO was. I was used to dealing with rejection from countless hours prospecting B2C customers, but calling presidents and C-level executives was a whole new level of intimidating. After two weeks of cold calls and an overwhelming sense of despair, the guidance from great mentors and wonderful teammates FINALLY helped me set my first meeting. I was thrilled to finally get in front of someone, but I still had no real understanding of what Impact did or how to speak 'business'. The night before my first appointment, I spent hours practicing my talk track and the questions I would ask the COO, only to show up the next day and say NOTHING. Fast forward three years into my career at Impact, and I’ve been fortunate enough to receive four individual awards over the last two years for leading the region in both assessment and partnership revenue. One of my proudest moments came late last year when I led the charge from a discovery meeting all the way to the assessment proposal, resulting in the largest assessment of my career. Now, new reps look to me for training, advice, and the same guidance that was crucial for me in my early career. While I’ve always been successful in sales, I’ve unlocked a new level of confidence and acumen for navigating complex solutions within multi-million-dollar organizations. This has undoubtedly influenced my personal life, as each experience shapes my perspective of the world and my place in it. Impact, not only from my experience but also from new reps’ testimonials, has a unique and welcoming culture focused on hard work and tremendous moral support. There were many times in my career where it wasn't easy to keep going, but the friends I made over the years helped me stay positive and focused on the bigger picture. Impact practices what it preaches, and while we’re not perfect by a long shot, we’re heading in the right direction, giving those who work here a unique opportunity to learn from experts in all facets of business operations
