Overall positive experience from my time with Equitable Advisors. I imagine it could vary by office and branch, but personal development and training was a big part of the company culture. Strong career growth potential and earnings, however earning scale had a lot of variability

Great place to work if your motivated to build a book of business. Open architecture so no quota for proprietary products, although they are pushed by managers.

This is a commission only job and there is no basically no training to help you develop and grow. Good position for someone with little conscious. It is fun to hit the phones with the boys tho.
