If you found the company at the right time (No DevOps) it can be a great fit. If not, it is a very hard sell. Account management was very bad for AEs.

Product sells itself if you are selling to the right company at the right stage. Hardest part is finding the right prospects. But there really aren't any competitors, so the sales cycle is relatively easy.
