The product sells itself, really all about gathering and maintaining good recommendations. There were reps making 200k+ a year selling kitchen knives to soccer moms. The vast majority of anyone talking bad about their experience with Cutco is just not cut out for sales period. Very easy to have success with them if you are diligent, listen and implement the advice of your superiors, and dedicated to perfecting the art that is sales.
