Undergoing a very needed but probably painful overall transformation of the sales org. Great ELT Sales Leader with a clear plan. Parts of middle management very questionable. Still a great place to work.

The products and solutions acquired by Cisco were best in class at the point of acquisitions. That said, the levels of bureaucracy, toxic management and misaligned leadership means those products fall out of favour, have less than ideal levels of post sales support and almost zero efficient development to keep them ahead of competition. The biggest problem with Cisco is they just don't move fast enough to current market trends. Cisco wants to be a software and services company, but they struggle to release reliable code. The company is truly more of a holding company for a lot of small companies they've acquired rather than a market leader driving innovation.
