I worked at Boomi for three years. My first year was positive, with a supportive work environment and solid opportunities for growth. However, things took a turn after the company was acquired by a private equity firm. Over time, the company's focus shifted, leading to poor development resources, limited career advancement opportunities, and stagnant compensation. The changes made it increasingly difficult to feel valued or see a clear path for growth. Overall, my experience at Boomi started strong but became increasingly challenging as the company's priorities shifted under new ownership.

My overall experience was mediocre at best. High turn over rate made it extremely hard to cultivate collaborative relationships in the company. There was no clear and direct communication, transparency and/or accountability from SLT during my time spent at Boomi.

It seemed senior sales leadership, in partnership with marketing, had no idea how to grow demand. As a response, they simply hired more salespeople and recut territories, which further divided the pie.
