Likelihood of winning deals was minimal that way, maybe 5%-10% tops. Was able to source deals on my own through my own effort, 25%-30% close rate that way. Practice was highly competent, met many from other practices there that were competent.
Prior to full integration in the main company, comp was exceptional and was what any Sales person would want. Paid for what you sold. Sell more, earn more, simple. After integration into main company, commissions weren't being paid out and comp plan were constantly being adjusted or rewritten. Large amounts of sales team members across the entire organization have been quitting for some time due to this.
