Back to ReviewsFormer Employee I joined Atlas Copco as part of an acquisition and initially appreciated the company's strong reputation in the industry. The transition period offered valuable exposure to new systems and practices, and I was optimistic about the opportunities ahead. However, my time there was ultimately short-lived due to significant and disruptive management changes—having three different bosses within a year made it difficult to establish consistency or direction.
Additionally, the drastic changes to compensation structure were a major factor in my decision to leave. Shifting from 3% of revenue to 1%, paired with a shift to activity-based metrics instead of a focus on pure revenue, significantly impacted earning potential and morale. While the experience provided unique challenges and insights, these organizational shifts made it unsustainable to stay. Browse Other Reviews
