For being relatively new to the sales industry I found it hard to strike a strong start here as most of your business will be from referrals. The pay is also 100% commission and the average deal size is very small so I had difficulty with making enough sales to support myself and their really wasn't any hands on training besides shadowing 3 appointments. Other than that you are completely on your own as you don't work side by side with anyone.

This experience (22 years ago), as a door-to-door salesperson, was the refining fire to a 20-year sales career. Although it was tough, it showed me the value of hustle, how important it is to be approachable and to connect with people, and how to handle objections. Very grateful for my time at this company!
