The Role: 

The Sales Director for Territory/Mid-Market Accounts will be a key position responsible for driving our AMER revenue growth in the mid-market. This is a second line role. As a mid-market sales leader for Americas, based in our Austin office, you will take responsibility for driving Redgate’s culture and values through relationship building and encouraging collaboration between all local teams/functions.

Your Work at Redgate Software: 

  • Responsible for quarterly and annual new business quota through sales planning and accurate forecasting.
  • Leading our Territory and Transactions sales managers to contribute to company growth.
  • Building and maintaining a positive work environment, while creating trust and respect among your team, extended team resources and office.
  • Focusing on your people with talent development.
  • Providing direction, development and inspiration to team members.
  • Managing the hiring, staffing and maintaining of a diverse and effective workforce.
  • Driving sales strategies and sales promotion campaigns.
  • Planning and developing careers performance and pay discussions of team members.
  • Ownership of transactional revenue stream for Americas.
  • Making critical resource decisions to deliver results.
  • Partner across sales leadership and company functions (marketing, product, operations) to represent team and customers’ needs and challenges.
  • Collaboratively giving to the long-term success of Redgate through the sharing of best practices and becoming engaged in cross-functional projects/activities.
  • Hire/Build a strong team of diverse talent by self-sourcing and through internal recruiting.

What You Bring to the Table:  

  • 10+ years of experience in sales / go-to-market (GTM) roles
  • 5+ years of experience in people management
  • Track record of building software sales teams
  • Understanding of software subscription tools market
  • Well versed in MEDDPICC sales methodology
  • Disciplined with salesforce hygiene, establishing operating rhythm.
  • Working knowledge of tools like Salesforce, Salesloft, 6sense, Gainsight, Excel
  • Experience in fast-paced environment managing both volume and key deals
  • Woking in-office two-days per week.

Preferred Skills:

  • Ability to translate strategic objectives into business plan
  • Expert understanding of customer/industry climate
  • High level of solutions and technical knowledge
  • Experience with technical software-based products
  • Understanding of subscription software tools market
  • Experience in selling database technology
  • Analytical skills to diagnose and anticipate issues

Salary: 

  • Base: $140,000 - $160,000
  • 50/50 split
