If you’re qualified for a position you apply for, yet aren’t getting anything but the automated rejection letter. What’s your plan of attack to get an interview?
Seamless.ai offers you 50 credits meaning you have access to 50 people You can get emails for. I’ve personally emailed hiring managers and that has landed me two interviews! Goodluck and happy hunting :)
Believe it or not ChatGPT has been a major help in helping land atleast initial phone screens. You can upload your resume, the job description of a job your after and ask it to analyze how well you match the role, how you can optimize your resume to match the role, and create a compelling cover letter. I agree the networking and connecting with hiring team etc. is a great way to start, but small tweaks with the help of AI have had me not even needing to go that route on a couple.
Chat gpt has been really helpful! In terms of generating interview questions and responses as well
Yeah like the other response said - don't every ONLY rely on just the application - do some serious networking with current reps, current managers, who you believe is the hiring manager, recruiters and even executives at the company. The fact that it was an auto rejection letter means that it's possible that nobody even read through your resume and it got flagged for some reason or another. That doesn't mean you still can't land the interview, but you'll just need to work your way in there. In any case, that's what the team is probably looking for if it's a sales role, ya know! Good luck, keep grinding!
Was running into the same wall recently. I'd recommend not wasting your time with a blind application. Try to network with reps at the company to get a referral. Lean on your network to get connected to any 2nd degree connections on linkedin. That or target roles where the hiring manager is identifiable. In that case try dropping an application and then writing your pitch to that hiring manager on why you think youre a good fit. You may be doing all these things already in which case I'd say stay on the grind and be persistent. Its been a tough market for a while but you'll break through eventually. Good luck!
