Back to ReviewsFormer Employee Amex GBT is not a sales focused organization. Less than 10% of the sales team achieves their OTE - most make less than half of incentive expectations. They will not provide details of the comp plan before you sign on -- be sure you can live off the base pay for at least 3 years. Most of the incentive pay is tied to production in the first year, but the implementation process is so deeply broken, many new clients leave before they go live. Millions of dollars are dumped into a marketing team that does not produce any leads. Since going public, GBT continues to acquire the competition, further diluting the lead pool.
The Salesforce Lightning configuration is brutal - the 'global sales enablement' team that manages it is often referred to as the 'sales prevention' team. Progress is very, very slow. Browse Other Reviews
