Plus, I joined a few months ago, and they are changing the SDR role from an Allbound role to an Outbound role, and of course, the comp plan is changing as well.
When receiving inbounds, you might get one demo request per month.
The product doesn’t solve any business pain beyond being innovative in its architecture.
Honestly, I had three other offers, and I chose them due to the “on-paper” attractive comp plan. I very much regret joining, and I am actively looking to move.
Four days in the office are mandatory; I need to provide an explanation when working from home.
Two positives are the direct manager of the BDR team and the happy hours and team vibe.
(I'm not really into the second one. When I'm at work, I’m there to make money, not to celebrate International Popcorn Day.)
It might be a good option if you have no SDR experience and can move after a year to join an organization where you could be promoted to a full-cycle role from within.
If you are tenured and ambitious, I would definitely stay away.
