Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Senior leadership is completely out of touch and have no idea what is happening in the market but need constant praise and reassurance that they are sales geniuses. We have to literally give our customers scripts and coach them in proper topics before leadership visits because they (leadership) reacts extremely negatively, borderline unprofessionally, if the customer doesn’t 100% agree with Makita strategy or decisions.
Business strategy decisions are purely reactionary and it seems like leadership does not understand how to operate in the current market. Marketing is completely absent for any needed field support and when they do make national moves they are completely out of touch with the market.
Easy job overall but a lot of your quota attainment comes down to macroeconomic forces, your internal cache within the company, and a very nebulous string of decisions on what promotions will be offered in the market. Browse Other Reviews
