Good experience to start out in tech sales due to the big company reputation, good products, and growing industry. The problem is that cognex charges a lot for their products compared to competitors who essentially offer the same exact thing but cheaper. Lots of internal politics, but if you can see past that, then go for it.

My experience was good. The company was amazing to work for in the beginning but over time shifted to a much different culture. Overall they do a great job of training and offer a very impressive portfolio of products to sell. If you can see past some of the internal politics, it's an enjoyable place to work
