About the Opportunity
We’re looking for an Account Executive with a zeal to win, a kind heart, an unwavering team spirit, a positive attitude and a great sense of humor to join our rapidly growing team. The Account Executive will be charged with driving revenue and account growth and building ClearGov’s presence within our target market. The successful candidate will take ownership of building new direct customer relationships that maximize revenue opportunities throughout his/her territory of accounts. You will be a key player on an incredible team as we execute our mission to help local governments and school districts become more efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive revenue growth via local government and K-12 school district customers
- Develop a strategic plan to optimize pipeline creation and growth
- Prospect, pitch and close business for the ClearGov product solutions
- Build and maintain a revenue pipeline that ensures that you meet or exceed quota on a consistent basis
- Actively manage pipeline and activities in CRM (Salesforce.com)
- Coordinate with Client Success team to on-board new accounts, ensure client success and help grow existing accounts
- Deliver feedback to ClearGov product development on requested product enhancements and improvements
- Coach your SDR(s) in tailoring their prospecting efforts to be more effective in your territory
- Travel 5-8 times per year to represent ClearGov at sales events/trade shows
Critical Skills/Experience:
- 2+ years of SaaS/software selling experience
- Direct experience in selling to government or K-12 school entities a PLUS
- Consistent track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets
- Ability to accurately project and manage a pipeline
- Salesforce.com (or other CRM), Microsoft Office experience required
- Disciplined commitment to the sales process - a true hunter!
- Proven ability to influence via indirect authority
- Excellent sales and presentation skills – a strong closer!
- Outstanding product demo skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, startup environment
- Previous experience in public/event speaking

The Interview Process:
- Initial interviews will begin as early as September 4, 2024.
- We have multiple Account Executive positions open.
- The target AE "class" start date is Monday, November 4, 2024.

- Initial interview with a Recruiting team member (45 minutes)
- 1:1 Interview with a Sales Manager (45 minutes)
- Panel Mini-Presentation & Feedback Discussion Interview (45 minutes)
- 1:1 Interview with Chief Revenue Officer (30 minutes)
