Sales Development Representative

TextMyGov is a fast-growing Software as a Service (SaaS) startup that specializes in providing government organizations with smart-texting technology to connect with their communities seamlessly. We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team. As an SDR at TextMyGov, you will play a crucial role by engaging potential clients, building relationships, and setting appointments to showcase the value of our software. We offer base pay, commissions, and bonuses. Every SDR has the opportunity to grow into an Account Executive role. If you're looking to get into software sales, this is a great position for you.

Work Location: Logan, UT - In person 

Responsibilities:

• Make 65-95 calls per day to potential prospects
• Identify and qualify leads through effective communication and active listening
• Set up meetings with key decision-makers to introduce TextMyGov's products and services
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve and exceed sales targets
• Keep accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities in our CRM system (Pipedrive)
• Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and our product offerings
• Demonstrate a strong desire to learn and grow within the organization
• Set demonstrations per day to pass on to the sales managers

Qualifications:

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable making a high volume of calls
• Desire to learn and be open to feedback - coachability is essential
• High energy level, self-motivated, and results-oriented
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment
• Strong desire to learn and grow professionally
• Previous experience in sales or a customer-facing role is a plus
• CRM experience is a plus

Compensation:

• $15 - $17 per hour base pay
• Completed demo bonus: $10 per demo completed with proposal sent
• Demo to close bonus: 7% commission on Annual Recurring Fee

Schedule:

• Full time: 6:00 am - 3:00 pm or 7:00 am - 4:00 pm (Monday-Friday)
